Yesterday (30/3/23) driving into Yamba I saw a new sign to slow down for Emu’s. 

I did exactly that then thought what are the odds of an EMU being spotted and was this new sign a joke or tourist attraction.  

Blow me down on my return trip, there he was in all his magnificence standing quite regally waiting to be applauded in the soya bean field just near Wynyabbie House.

Please slow down heed the new sign and watch out for ‘Elvis’ the  Rockstar Coastal Emu of our Clarence Valley.’
