Grafton VIEW members at the monthly social outing

Think about joining VIEW Club

Are you thinking about social activities for the New Year? VIEW Club would be a good suggestion, so we encourage you to think about coming along to the February meeting.

You ask, “What do I have to do?” The answer to that is, “Nothing!” Just come along, sit back and enjoy yourself once a month with a tasty meal, a motivated guest speaker, and ultimately disadvantaged students will be helped.

So, what is VIEW Club all about? The Grafton VIEW Club is part of a national women’s organisation, with over 15,000 members in communities around Australia helping children in need. Some children don’t have what they need for school & fall behind in class. This can mean they may never reach their full potential. For over 60 years VIEW Club members have helped give children the educational support they need to change their lives. Besides, through this organisation many lasting friendships have been forged.

November was the last meeting for the year with a Christmas theme, and a lovely Christmas lunch was served.

The next mid-month social is on Tuesday January 24 at Li Garden Chinese Restaurant, the Good Intent Hotel, South Grafton, 12 noon. Then the first VIEW Club meeting for 2023 will be on Tuesday February 28, at the Grafton District Services Club, Mary Street Grafton, commencing at 10.30am. So, make sure you mark this in your new 2023 diary, because you are invited to come along, meet new friends, and renew old acquaintances.
