Mindful Moments

Try this mindful exercise. Think of something negative that often comes to mind. “I can’t do this.” Now think it again but add this in front, “I’m having the thought that… I can’t do this.” Did you notice the difference? Step back from your thoughts and simply observe them, without judgement or putting labels on them. You are not the thought; you are the one noticing the thought. Practice noticing your thoughts rather than getting caught up in them. “I notice that I’m having the thought…” Life flows when you become the silent observer of your thoughts. Be Mindful… Pause… Connect!
