Had a great day for tennis for the ladies’ social competition last Thursday week until the last set for the Woodrow and Neill teams when a cloud came over from Ashby way and dampened the ladies and the court too much to continue playing. 

Their results were Woodrow’s (31 games, 5 sets) to Neill’s team (25 games, 1 set), whereas the other match was completed in the dry with Harrington’s (17 games, 1 set), lots of juices again and going down to McAulay’s team (30 games, 5 sets). Chris did a great job filling in for Sharon who will be away for a while.

The teams to play this Thursday 20, the second last day prior to the finals will be Woodrow’s to play Donovan’s and the other match will be Neill’s and McAulay’s teams, with Harrington’s on the bye and Donovan’s team are the duty team. Still hoping that it will be a dry day.
