Grafton based business Access able Connections have received national recognition.

Last week, Company Director and co-founder Cameron Monaghan proudly accepted the award for most outstanding disability support care provider in Australia at the 2022 Enablement Awards in Sydney.

A celebration of innovation and excellence amongst the highest performers in the disability care, housing, and services sectors in the country, the award reflects the exemplary results achieved by the local business.

Crediting his incredible team for their ongoing support, Mr Monaghan said the award is a reflection of their dedicated work ethic and continuous commitment to their local community.

“We wouldn’t have received this award without them,” he said, adding he was very honoured and humbled by the accolade.

“This is an incredible achievement, and I’m very proud of our team.”

Founded in 2017, Access able Connections is an independent and registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider which offers personalised support services including individual and social support to residents throughout the Clarence Valley.

“People rely on us,” Mr Monaghan explained.

“And we feel very proud of our professional contributions, and how we can help to make a difference in their lives.

“Since it was first established the business has flourished, and we’re thankful to our community for supporting us in the work we do.”

Mr Monaghan revealed while he initially thought the award nomination was a scam, following the increase in fraudulent activities this year, some quick investigations and follow-ups soon revealed it was a legitimate reason to celebrate.

“I wasn’t sure at first, because there are a high number of scams going around at the moment, but let’s just say I was quite relieved and very happy when I found out it was genuine,” he added.

Following the 2022 Enablement Awards, Mr Monaghan has been invited to travel to London later this year to share the successful innovations of Access able Connections on an international platform.

“It will be a great networking opportunity,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to it.”
