After disbanding in 2021, following more than 40 years of generous and selfless community service, members of the former Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary continue to meet regularly at the Grafton District Services Club (GDSC).

As they renew years of friendship and share the latest news with one another, they also proudly reflect on the significant contributions they have made together, and in doing so, help to keep the spirit of the Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary alive.

Together, they raised and donated more than $260000 to assist elderly locals across the Clarence Valley, and their hard work has previously enabled many modifications and structural improvements for the residents of Whiddon Grafton, formerly Livingstone House.

The group presented their last donation of $8893 on December 13 last year.

Former Secretary of the Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary Yvonne Robards said members look forward to their get-togethers, which are usually held on the third Monday of each month, adding it is always wonderful to see each other again.

At the time of its disbandment, the Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary had 16 members aged between 40 and 92 years.

The members are currently planning a Christmas gathering to be held at the GDSC early next month.
