Our next meeting will be Monday August 15 at The Yamba Bowling Club from 10am for a 10.30am start. Our speaker will be Leonie Roberts. Earlier this year Leonie was awarded Clarence Valley Citizen of the Year for her varied volunteer work within the Grafton Council area. The social diary is now getting busy so pencil these dates in ladies. A Soup Day to be held Monday August 22. With this seemingly never ending winter chill it will be most welcoming. It will be held at Joy’s home. Just announced is our film morning, Friday September 9. An advanced screening of Bridget Jones’s Baby. Bridget is over 40 and single again. Feeling she finally has her life under control, a new man enters her life. No spoilers! This is a romantic comedy with played Renée Zellweger once again playing Bridget. So spread the word and come join us as this fundraiser helps us support our three sponsored children in the Learning for Life program run by The Smith Family. There will be our fabulous and plentiful morning tea with lots of raffle. Always a morning filled with fab food, great movie fun and friendship. Also consider the upcoming Gala Day. This will be held in Coffs Harbour on Friday September 16. Again we will have a bus. So pop your name on the list. We will have more details about all these at our next luncheon.
