Yamba Day VIEW movie fundraiser

The first screening of ‘Red Joan’ will be hosted by Yamba Day VIEW Club to enable us to continue to support our five disadvantaged children, through The Smith Family ‘Learning for Life’ programme.

Start time is 10.30am on Friday July 26, with our delicious morning tea/lunch starting off the proceedings. There will be great raffle and chocolate wheel prizes prior to the movie. Tickets for morning tea and cinema are $15, so buy your tickets early at the bottom cinema Yamba, as allocated seating applies.

Red Joan has had some good reviews, with Judi Dench in the starring role. Joan receives a knock on her door, years after the war has ended, from the British Secret Service.  The mystery…how did she pass on info about the atomic bomb? The intrigue…how did she get away with it for so long? Why…what drove her, or forced her to do this?

This is a a true story and makes for another Judi Dench compelling drama. Please come along, bring a friend and support our worthy cause. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
