Yamba Day VIEW Club celebrated our 29th Birthday party at Bowlo Sports & Leisure, Yamba on Monday October 17.   

The theme was “Black & White”, and most ladies looked splendid following the theme.   

We had 22 ladies in attendance with nine coming from Grafton VIEW, National Vice Councillor Elizabeth Birch, Chris, a friend of one of our members, Lois Worgan, who celebrated her 90th Birthday. and guest speaker, Kathy Brophy, a McGrath Breast Cancer nurse.   

Lois, NVC Elizabeth and Vice President Roslyn cut our cake which was then used as desert after our delicious roast chicken dinner.   

Our morning tea outing for October will be held instead on November 7 at the Yamba Cinema with Debbie doing a morning tea with scones etc. and proper coffee at a cost of $20 per person and the movie we will see is “Mrs Harris Goes to Paris”. 

Morning tea is at 9am and the movie at 10am. Please let Dianne know on 0418 602 432 if you will be attending so that Debbie can be notified of numbers.

Our Mystery bus trip has been postponed until the New Year owing to Dianne’s health issues.
