Each year the Yamba Bridge Club holds their annual congress which is a major gathering of bridge players from around the region and from interstate. The congress was held on the 30th April & the 1st May with 92 players taking part. During the event the Club held a major raffle raising over $450 which they generously donated to the regions Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service. The Club has now donated over $3,000 to the rescue helicopter service since 2010 with Fundraising Manager, Zeke Huish, commenting “This donation is very significant when you consider the size of the Club”. “Every donation helps us to save lives and we thank the Club and its members for their continued support” said Mr Huish.
