Grafton Country Music Roundup coming together nicely
Everything is coming together nicely for the sixth Grafton Country Music Roundup being held at the Grafton Greyhound Racing complex in Cranworth Street, Grafton from Tuesday 26th July to Sunday 31st July according to roundup organiser Bob Vickers.
Country music is a popular genre, with many festivals held throughout Australia and this is one is no exception, especially with many people who like to play and sing country music coming along and entertaining as walk-up artists from Tuesday to Thursday inclusive. Walk-up artists are expected to come from South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and of course NSW.
The venue at the Greyhound Club is excellent, with under cover seating and food and coffee available. Caravan facilities are available at the venue and indications are that there will be a good roll-up of visitors to Grafton for the roundup.
From Friday 29th July, the main artists perform right through to Sunday afternoon and include, Laura Downing, Reg Poole, Bob Easter, Ken “Chainsaw” Lindsay, Lindsay Waddington, Greg Bain, Anita Ree, Jeff Gibson, Velcro Band (which includes Paul Ensbey, originally from Grafton), Trent Holder, Charmaine Pout and Suburban Country.
So country music fans this is your chance to diarise the dates and make sure you get yourself to the roundup.
As a prelude to the roundup some of the artists will be performing on Saturday 23rd July in the carpark at Bunnings next to the BBQ.
