The Yamba Bowling Club Euchre Tournament on Monday November 2, saw Joan Pullen holding great cards. Joan was the outright winner with a top score of 10 games. Noel Collie was a close second with 9 games. Clare Routson won the lone hand prize which was donated by Lila Harris. The lucky door prize was won by Lila Harris. Welcome back Shirley Pilley, Eileen Donaldson, Beryl Firth, Glenda Davis, Gert Rotermund, Marilyn and Neil Franey. Thursday November 5, Gert Rotermund and Joan Pullen tied for first place with 10 games each. Joan also won the weekly double. Noel Collie won the lone hand prize which was donated by Marie Boots. The lucky door prize went to Paul Jackson. Thursday’s October monthly winners were Avery Austin and Joan Pullen with 40 games each. Birthday wishes to Avery Austin who turns 90 years on Sunday, November 8. Avery was presented with a bouquet of flowers from the Euchre Players. Happy birthday to Robyn Causley on Saturday, November 7. Euchre is played at the Yamba Bowling Club on Monday and Thursday evenings with play commencing at 7pm. Everyone is very welcome.
