The momentum is building, thanks to the many Clarence Valley billy cart supporters and enthusiasts who have come on board and raised enough money in sponsorship, to stage the Inaugural Jacaranda Billy Cart Derby. The challenge is on. It’s time for the community to throw themselves into the construction of their ‘state of the art – cart’ which will battle it out for the converted ‘King of the Mountain’, title. Gone are the days of Holden or Ford, this is serious business; as the challenge is put out there for mechanic versus mechanic and truckie versus truckie, to come up with their own ‘super’ machine. This event is not just limited to the serious contenders however.
