On Tuesday June 27 Maclean lady golfers hosted the WGNR Women’s Vets Open Day, 52 players took to the field from Grafton, Iluka, Yamba, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore and Maclean.

The event was sponsored by L J Hooker Maclean, Joel Imerson and Tracey Anderson attended to present the prizes to the winners, thanks guys for helping conclude a great day of golf and a big thanks to L J Hooker Maclean.

The event was a 4BBB Stableford-Scratch In.

Results

Scratch winners were Shirley Kay and Sue Sheaffe, congratulation girls.

4BBB Stableford winner were Jean Ellis and Christine Hartley with a 45; runners up were Christina Picton and Deanna Roberts with a 44.

Ball rundowns went to Pam McKellar, Sue Ruhl, Venka Dadswell, Helen Gibbins, Cheryl Creighton, Cheryl Shanley, Di Alderman, Heather Purtill, Carolyn Doyle, Nola Lobban, Chris Forrester, Pat Harris, Bev Ensbey and Sue Fong Kee.

Thanks must go to the Maclean lady golfers who put in the work to make this a great day, the course was presented wonderfully and played very well by all reports, thanks to our great green staff and volunteers.
