Uniting Yamba visit Yamba Day VIEW

Last month we had a most informative visit from Uniting Yamba, guest speakers Suzanne Powell, sales specialist, accompanied Sheila Walker, from sales support. With some ladies asking questions and designing their lifestyle to match the three year wait for construction availability.

Uniting will expand its services in Yamba with the addition of 84 new one, two and three-bedroom independent living apartments and villas.

Many VIEW ladies are looking to this sort of retirement planning, with aged care units also under construction.

How nice it was to see Jean Cook, attend our meeting.  Members, (although low in numbers) have been out and about with our social outings since we were able to recommence under COVID rules.

Yamba Day’s Learning for Life sponsorship programme payments have been met for next year. We always look forward to our five Australian disadvantaged children’s letters of school reports, family wellbeing, and health progress.

Thanks to Roz for conducting the meeting last month, it was much appreciated.

It was decided to have a quiet birthday celebration, with Spring as the theme, to comply with the current restrictions.
