Two’s good company at the Hilton

Capture   The multi talented Mick Buckley (Bucko) first found fame as the drummer for the Radiators, but then returned to his childhood roots and reinvented himself as a swingin’, honky tonk piano man and successfully conquered the US. These days he plays in all types of line-ups, from solo to full band performances. This Friday night October 9 he returns to the Harwood ‘Hilton’ Hotel in duo form. Buckley has toured the USA, playing residencies in places like Bourbon St. New Orleans, Nashville Tennessee, and capping it off by firing up for Smokey Robinson at the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing Michigan. Buckley is simply a great, fun entertainer, who has the history to prove it: on home soil he has performed with the likes of Mud Crab Boogie, The Yee Haa Boys, Hi Home I’m Honey, Los Garbos, Harlem Shuffle, Hughie & The Swing Thing, Rupert B, Richard Wilkins Band, The Swing, Top Shelf Shuffle and Lisa Hunt.
