Twenty years of holidays for Grafton’s Set for Life winners!

A Grafton family will spend the next twenty years flicking through travel brochures to choose their next holiday destination after winning 1st prize in last Wednesday’s Set for Life draw 293. The local family came forward to NSW Lotteries after officials put out the call for any Set for Life players who purchased an unregistered ticket in Grafton to check their entry. “I saw a post on Facebook last night about a missing Set for Life winner who purchased their 1st prize winning ticket in Grafton,” the excited winning wife explained. “I knew I had bought my Set for Life ticket from that newsagency so I got the winning numbers off the NSW Lotteries website and checked my entry. “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that I had all the winning numbers! I got my husband to check my ticket and then I rechecked it about twenty times before I let myself believe I’d won! “It’s such a surreal feeling when you realise you’ve won – it’s hard to explain. I haven’t slept since then although I have stopped shaking now! “I can’t even get my head around the fact that we’ll be receiving $20,000 a month for the next 20 years – it’s just so wonderful! “My husband and I love our jobs so we won’t be quitting. There will be lots of holidays on the horizon though – twenty years of holidays!” The winners have chosen to remain anonymous. NSW Lotteries encourages customers to register their entries to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card as it ensures their prize is secure and they can be contacted directly with news of a big win. The 1st Prize winning Set for Life entry in draw 293 on Wednesday 25 May was purchased at Grafton Shoppingworld News, 42 Duke Street in Grafton.
