The Clarence Valley Independent is proud to once again be a major sponsor of the Clarence Valley Sports Awards in 2023.

This year marks 10 years since the inception of the awards, and plans are being put in place for a huge celebration on 10 February 2024.

We will provide all the latest updates and announcements as we build up to this exciting event, including profiles of the various award nominees and special guests, and polls for awards selected by the community.

Over the coming weeks we will start to unveil the Grafton Shoppingworld ‘Sportsperson of the Month’ winners from the first few months of the year. As always, there is plenty of special talent in the mix of athletes.

The junior and senior Sportsperson of the Month winners make up the pool of finalists for several major individual awards at the annual presentation dinner, and are guaranteed a silver medal and $50 voucher, with the Sportsperson of the Year taking home a gold medal and $250 voucher.
