SPAR helps quench Firies thirst

Capture Lynne Mowbray A pallet of bottled water was delivered to the Gulmarrad Rural Fire Service on Wednesday last week, from SPAR Maclean, to help quench the thirst of our local Firies. Owner of SPAR Maclean, Bob Little said that one of the Gulmarrad Rural Fire Service (RFS) members came in to see us, to see what kind of a deal we could do on bottled water for the fire fighters (as they go through a lot of water on the job). “I got onto the SPAR Warehouse and we came up with an outstanding deal of about 15 cents a bottle,” said Mr Little. “We all put a bit in (to purchase the pallet of water) – the SPAR Warehouse, SPAR Maclean and the Gulmarrad RFS – we’re all part of a community, which help each other.”
