Roads closed at Yamba

Several Yamba roads will be closed on Sundays until April so the Yamba Multisport Club can safely conduct club triathlon events.

The closure of Deering Street, Quarter Deck Place and Fairtrader Drive from 7.15am until 8.30am on March 3 and 17, and April 7, is accordance with a council approved traffic management plan and local police and will be implemented by certified people.

Local traffic will be allowed to access the area in case of emergency, with vehicles requested to travel around the streets in a clockwise direction, the same direction as cyclists to minimise the risk.

For more information call Kim Elvery on 0435 986 426.
