Name change for Community College

This year marks an important milestone for the College with the launch of our new business name, North Coast Community College. For years now we have traded as both Lower Clarence Community College and Ballina Regional Community College which has caused some confusion for our clients. In addition to our name change we have launched a new brand identity and website. The important elements remain the same. We are committed to the delivery of quality training products, to listening and meeting the needs of our community, and to advancing the skills and capabilities of our local economies. We continue to operate with a dedicated staff team, employ a suite of quality trainers and are guided by a voluntary board of directors. We offer students a diverse array of certificate courses and workskills training that reflects current and future business opportunities in our region, across areas including; aged care, business administration and hospitality. Our Term 1 course guide is available via our new website and offers a fresh package of products – many of which are unique to our College. Business Booster launched this month and is specifically targeting business owners, managers and team leaders with short, fast paced learning that is context driven for local business. Job hunter is aimed at helping people get the job they really want. Overlaid across all of these new elements are the outstanding possibilities created by government funded programs, specifically Smart & Skilled which is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training System. This initiative provides students with access to subsidised training (conditions apply). There are also more than thirty lifestyle options available, our largest ever scope of leisure products, from garden design to life drawing. With all these possibilities and opportunities, now is the perfect time to recharge your life and your career. Why not make a start today by visiting our website; or phoning 6646 9094.
