Music, art and food at Nymboida

Artists, musicians and chefs are getting ready for a big day at the Nymboida Canoe & Camping Centre on Sunday March 26 from 10am to 4pm. This popular event is set in the park like bushland along Goolang Creek.

Enjoy viewing the art of over 40 artists, get to meet the artists and watch some of them demonstrate their skills. A barbeque lunch for meat lovers and vegans is on offer along with three High Tea sittings. Finish the day off with a cheese platter and a cold drink while listening to live music from a great line up of local musicians.

Blacksmith artist Eoin McSwan, painters Julie Hutchings, Julianne Gosper and Stacey Conridge, fibre artists Jackie McLeod and Debra Hebbard are just some of the artists on show. Rod Zietsch makes are return to the Art in the Paddock with his exquisite furniture.

The musical program kicks off just after 10am with the MetroGnomes to play up tempo blues, retro rock and roll, funk and a dash of R&B. Live music continues throughout the day with Velour, Skye McKenny, Yurpia, Paul Commerford and Rob Imeson.
