Motorists advised of controlled rock blasting at Glenugie for Pacific Highway Upgrade

Road and Maritime Services advises motorists controlled rock blasting will be carried out near the Pacific Highway at Glenugie as part of the upgrade of the highway between Woolgoolga and Ballina. Controlled blasting will be carried out on Wednesday 20 April between 1pm and 1.30pm near Franklins Road. For the safety of workers and motorists all traffic on the Pacific Highway will be temporarily stopped during controlled blasting. Motorists can expect delays of up to 10 minutes for each controlled blast and are advised to plan travel around these times or allow extra time for their journeys.
