Maclean monthly Community Market swings into the Christmas spirit

The next monthly Maclean Community Market on December 9 will be full of the Christmas spirit and the biggest market since the Lions Club of Clarence Environmental took over the operation of the markets last September.

“We are delighted that local band ‘Where’s Paddy’ is busking at the markets, dressed in their pirate outfits, and we are encouraging families and kids to come along dressed as pirates to be in the running for some giveaways and gifts.” Said co-market organiser Prue Leggoe.

“We are expecting a record number of stalls this month including Christmas wreaths and decorations, cakes, candles, jewellery, clothing, woodwork, Denys beautiful straw products, soft toys, breakfast BBQ, plants and orchids, jams, fruit and veg and artworks. Something for everyone.” She added.

The market is held at Cameron Park Saturday December 9 between, 7.30am and 12. Pirates are encouraged to come along between 10-11am.
