Harvey is a Sydney-based singer and multi-instrumentalist, originally from the coastal village of Valla Beach. His live shows exhibit positive energy and his mellifluous singing, tune after tune. His latest single, Honey, from the album of the same name, has garnered airplay and praise from some of Triple J’s presenters. Roots N All’s Nkechi Anele gave it four stars. “Honey indeed! This track is a cruisey chilla with just enough sweetness,” she writes on the Unearthed website. “Lovely arrangement, it’s like Lior and Josh Pyke had a love child called Harvey.” Dave Ruby Howe writes in his three-star review: “Super cruisey tune from Harvey, the horns give it that extra bit of sunshine, too.” Harvey, who has performed internationally and shared stages with musicians such as Donavon Frankenreiter and Joe Robinson, plays at the Pacific Hotel this Friday Night April 28.
