Some further match play results for the 9 holers were Rex Brasington over Bev Hardwick 2/1 and Doc Foster over Pat Parkes 1 up. Our weekly badge draw after the Sunday presentation went off again with Col Want picking up $60. Our Wednesday Chook Run was won by Denis Hardwick with nett 24 and the r/up Dick Grabham with nett 25.  Least putts was taken out by Warren Hulme with 12.  NTP on the 4th was Herb Wilson, nice to see her back again and on the 5th John McCormack. Saturday 10th October was our ladies 9 hole Stroke event which was won by Sally Weeks with nett 41 and the r/up Marg Ridley with nett 43. Least putts was won by Edna Jackson with 13 and the NTP went begging. Sunday 9th August was a 2 person Ambrose event sponsored by the Austen family of Lawrence. The day was enjoyed by everyone with a free sausage sizzle provided by the Austens. The 9 hole winners with nett 34 ½  were Mark Austen and Ken Trim and r/up Colleen and Gary Stockwell with nett 36. The 18 hole winners with nett 63 ¼ were Aaron Patterson and Barry Borgess and the r/up Col Want and Graham Howard with nett 67. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored NTP on the 4th went to Peter Capp for the men and Kerry Cook for the ladies and on the 5th to Shane Rose. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 11 was won by Aaron Patterson and Barry Burgess on a c/b from Warren Hulme and Vic Durie. Club Balls went to Max Withnell, Denis Hardwick, Wayne Rush and Noel Butcher. The Money Tree was won by Peter Reeves. We also had a drive and pitch on the 3rd won by Wayne and Peter Reeves and a longest drive on the 8th won by Anthony Nagle. Next Sunday, 18th October is a Stableford event sponsored by Bendigo Bank of South Grafton. A reminder to all members that following golf at 1pm will be our AGM.
