A reminder to all our members that the weekly badge draw which takes place after the presentation every Sunday is up and running and now worth $100. Come on down for a friendly drink and a chance to win some cash. The Wednesday Chook Run was won by Warren Hulme with nett 32 and the r/up with nett 33 Theo Sheppard. NTP on the 4th went to Peter Capp and on the 5th was taken out by Max Withnell. Least putts with 14 was won by Lynne Dickens. Saturday, 29th August was the ladies 9 hole competition. The winner was Lyn Fisher with net 45 and the r/up Nancy Commerford with net 49. NTP was Marg Ridley and least putts Lyn Fisher with 16. Sunday, 30th August was our Monthly Medal No 11 stroke event sponsored by Sprockets Australia of Melbourne. The 9 hole and medal winner with nett 33 was Rex Brasington on a c/b from Bev Hardwick. The 18 hole and medal winner was Peter Smastjr with a fine nett 67 and the r/up Barry Moore with nett 74. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored NTP on the 4th went to Bev Hardwick and on the 5th to Rex Brasington. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 12 was taken out by John McCormack on a c/b from Anthony Nagle. Club Balls went to Peter Capp, Wayne Rush and James Welsh. The Money Tree was won by Pat Parkes. This was held in conjunction with the 2nd Round of the 9 Hole Club Championships which was won by Rex Brasington on a c/b from Pat Parkes. Next Sunday, 6th September is a Stableford event sponsored by Coulters Carpet Court / Beds ‘r Us of Yamba. Starters are Val Davis and Tonia Berry. See you all there at 7.30 am. John McCormack
