The Wednesday Chook Run was won by Tony Chester with nett 27 and the r/up was Vic Durie with nett 28 on a c/b from Theo Sheppard. NTP on the 4th went to Lynne Dickens and on the 5th to Max Withnell. Bev Hardwick took out the least putts with 13 on a c/b from Theo Sheppard. No luck for Theo! Saturday, 22nd August was the ladies 9 hole competition. The winner with nett 41 was Pat Harris and the r/up was Kerry Cook with nett 46. NTP was taken out by Pat Harris and least putts went to Bev Hardwick with 16 on a c/b from Kerry Cook. Sunday, 23rd August was a 2 person Ambrose event sponsored by Maclean Services Club. The 9 hole winners with nett 38 ¾ were Doc Foster and Rex Brasington and the r/up with nett 39 ¼ Mark and Harry Austen. The 18 hole winners were James Welsh and Theo Sheppard with nett 66 ½ and the r/up Max Withnell and Denis Hardwick with nett 66 ¾ . The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored NTP on the 4th went to Edna Jackson and on the 5th to Anthony Nagle. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 10 was taken out by Vic Durie and Tony Chester.
