Our Wednesday Chook Run was won by Kerry Cook with nett 27 and the r/up Vic Durie with nett 31. Least putts was taken out by G.P.W Jnr with 15 on a c/b from Theo Sheppard. NTP on the 4th went to Lynne Dickens and on the 5th went begging. Saturday’s Ladies Golf was won by Marg Ridley with nett 46 on a c/b from Lynn Fisher who also took out least putts with 13. NTP was also won by Marg Ridley. Sunday 2nd August was a Stableford event sponsored by Maclean Variety Meats. The 9 hole winner with 16pts was Edna Jackson and the r/up Charlie Munroe with 15pts. Great to see both these players back out having a hit. The 18 hole winner was John McCormack with 41pts and the r/up Tony Chester with 37pts on a c/b from Max Withnell. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went to Judy Want for the ladies and Peter Capp for the men and on the 5th to Max Withnell. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 12 was taken by Peter Honey. Club Balls went to Ross Lamond, Vic Durie, Wayne Rush and Col Want. The Money Tree was won by Denis Hardwick.
