The Wednesday Chook Run was won by Denis Hardwick with nett 30 on a c/b from Lynne Dickens. Nearest the pin on the 4th was won by Kerry Cook and on the 5th by Colleen Stockwell. Least putts was taken out by Tony Chester with 12. Friday afternoon’s Par 3 competition welcomed Barry Wheeler who won the day. John McCormack took out 2nd and Shane Rose was 3rd. Saturday’s Ladies 9 hole competition was won by Sue Fong-Kee with nett 43 in a 3-way c/b from Judy Want and Gai Greenwood. Gai also took out least putts with 13 as well as NTP. Sunday, 22nd May was a Stroke event sponsored by the Maclean Hotel. The 9 hole winner was Doc Foster with nett 38 in a c/b from Tonia Berry. The 18 hole winner was Tony Chester with nett 68 and the r/up Shane Rose with nett 70 in a c/b from Max Withnell. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went to Colleen Stockwell and on the 5th to James Welsh. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts was taken out by Max Withnell with 13 in a c/b from James Welsh. Club Balls went to Kerry Cook, John McCormack and Vic Durie. The Money Tree went once again to Edna Jackson. The weekly members Badge Draw went to Col Want who was present and picked up a cool $160. Next Sunday 29th May is our Monthly Medal No 8 Stroke event sponsored by Maclean Motors. The starters are Col Want and Denis Hardwick. See you all there at 7am.
