Our Wednesday Chook Run was our end of month 2 person Ambrose won by Bev Hardwick and Theo Sheppard with nett 30 ¾ and the runners up Doc Foster and Max Withnell with nett 33 ¾ . Least putts was taken out by Denis Hardwick and Herb Wilson with 12 on a c/b from Warren Hulme and Vic Durie. NTP on the 4th went begging and on the 5th to Col Want. I understand the seafood luncheon was up to its usual standard! Saturday’s Ladies Golf was a social hit due to lack of numbers and we would like to encourage more lady golfers to come and play in our friendly Saturday morning 9 hole comp. The 9 hole winner with 14pts was Colleen Stockwell on a 3-way c/b from Dick Grabham and Garry Stockwell. The 18 hole winner with 36pts also in a 3-way c/b was Barry Burgess from Theo Sheppard and Denis Hardwick. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went to Garry Stockwell for the men and Judy Want for the ladies and on the 5th to Anthony Nagle. The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 12 was taken by John McCormack. Club Balls went to Denis Hardwick, Warren Hulme and Col Want. The Money Tree was won by Judy Want.
