As our shirts are now ready, a presentation will take place following golf this Sunday. The club is also providing a free sausage sizzle for the occasion and we encourage members, particularly those who won prizes to stay back and enjoy a feed and also a chance to win the weekly badge draw. We are happy to announce that a new sponsor, Coastal Tourism Marketing, is sponsoring the par 4, 6th hole where a $100 prize will be on offer for anyone shooting an eagle during competition. Our Wednesday Chook Run was won by Vic Durie with nett 29 and the r/up Denis Hardwick with nett 33. Least putts was taken out by Tony Chester with 12. NTP on the 4th went begging and on the 5th to Theo Sheppard. Sunday December 13 was a Stroke event sponsored by Daniel Butt Solicitors of Maclean. The 18 hole winner with nett 66 was Colleen Stockwell and r/up on a 3 way c/b was Billy Salmon with nett 69. The 9 hole winner with nett 40 was Edna Jackson and the r/up Bev Hardwick with nett 42. The O’Halloran Motors, John Deere Lawn Care sponsored nearest the pin on the 4th went to Barry Moore with a brilliant and rare hole-in-one and on the 5th to Barry Burgess. Well done to Barry Moore!! The Maclean Motors sponsored least putts with 11 was also taken by Barry Moore. Club Balls went to Peter Capp, James Welsh and Judy Want. The Money Tree was won by Shirley Hulme. Next Sunday, December 20 is a Stableford event sponsored by Professionals Real Estate of Maclean and Grafton City Batteries. The starters are Tony Berry and Vic Durie.
