Iluka History Museum

cvi   The Iluka History Museum was established when the Clarence Valley Council gave the Iluka History Group the rear section of the Soldiers Memorial in Charles Street, to set up a museum. Through hard work the museum has taken shape and is now a great place to take a walk back into Iluka’s history with many photographs, newspaper clippings and historical collections on display. Iluka has a rich rowing history, as travelling by boat was a way of life in years gone by and an old cedar skiff, lovingly restored by the Iluka Men’s Shed is one of the items proudly on display. The museum is open each Friday from 10am to 3pm or by appointment. Memorial Hall, Charles Street, Iluka.
