Last Wednesday had us travelling over to Yamba Bowling Club for our game of Pennants against John Church and company and while playing on the super-fast bowling green surface we managed to sneak a 2-1 win, then after a few social games we adjourned inside for a quick drink and then it was time to say goodbye to our hosts and head home. It was a great day Yamba and thank you again.

Winners on the day were Be and Graeme 7-4, 7-1, Ross and Bob 7-4, 7-5.

On Friday we had another good roll up of players on a cold blustery day and Col ran out the winner just in front of Bob. Be ran a hoop to hoop but alas, all the ‘Scratchies’ have run out.

Sunday’s event was played in conditions colder than Friday and Nifty Nev prevailed over Be and Sue. The club cash award was won by Sue.

New players are more than welcome so just turn up on Friday or Sunday for a 9am hit off.
