Last Tuesday week we played host to the fun guys from Lawrence in the last game of the Clarence River Pennants, coming away with a 3 nil win and that result ended up with our club going through the rounds undefeated.

Thank you to Lawrence as we enjoyed the game as well as refreshments and lunch after the games, Be and Graeme won over Karen and Carole, Darcy and Nev got the best of Edna and Colleen, Vaughan and Ross also triumphed over Kath and Ken. Special thanks go out to our players, Be, Bob, Col, Darcy, Graeme, Nev, Ross and Vaughan for their efforts and a special mention to Be and Graeme who went through all rounds undefeated and also our thanks to all teams that competed.

Friday we were back to normal and a good roll up of players made for some interesting results; Darcy scored 2 hoops with the one shot and earned himself a scratchie for that effort and it also helped him to be runner up to the eventual winner Bob.

Sunday saw a mediocre field as a lot of the players have the flu and were sensible enough to stay away. Winner of the day was Val who finished just in front of Ele. Club cash award went to Bob.

Our AGM is to be held next Friday at 9am followed by a sausage sizzle and croquet, see you all then.
