The Yamba Bowlo Euchre on Monday July 15 saw Greg Johnson holding great cards and playing them to perfection to become the outright winner with 11 games. Close on his heels with ten games each were Mary Corcoran, Jean White and Cliff Parsons.

Cliff along with his sister both now residents of Yamba were made welcome to the euchre club.

The lone hand prize donated by Mary Corcoran found a new home in Iluka per courtesy of Mary Randall.

Thursday July 18 Noel Collie played his cards right to win the evening’s competition with 10 games. Gert Rotermund, Eileen Donaldson and Graeme Routson tied in second spot with 9 games each. Joan Pullen won the lone hand prize donated by Marlene Crelley. Welcome back to Toni Anderson.

Euchre is played at the Bowlo on Monday and Thursday evenings with play commencing at 7pm. All players are very welcome; we play 14 games and there is a $30 prize pool, plus jackpots etc. The games are all over by 9.15pm or so, in time to catch the courtesy bus home. Do come and meet the locals.
