Welcome back to Jane who has returned from visiting family in England. We were very fortunate to get on the water for all training sessions this last week.

On Thursday we were joined by Clarence Coast paddlers who were keen to get in some extra training for PanPacs which is coming up next month – we practised some pontoon loading from the new pontoon at Corcoran Park, this was a first for a few paddlers.

It was great to have two new paddlers join us on Saturday morning as we did some endurance training from Corcoran Park around Elizabeth Island and upriver to the Grafton Rowing Club before heading off to a well-deserved coffee. Well done Fiona and Phil.

We are now back to training Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from the rowing club opposite the Crown Hotel at 5.15pm and Corcoran Park on Saturday from 7.40am.

Not long until our regatta on October 29-30.
