On Friday August 18, the Westlawn Finance & Insurance Charity Golf Day was held in Grafton.

Over 130 golfers teed off to raise funds for local charity Our Kids. Our Kids raise awareness and funds to purchase paediatric equipment for Grafton Base Hospitals and other hospitals in the Northern Rivers.

On the day, teams got tips from Pro Golfer, Matt Millar and raised funds through raffles, auctions and buying ‘Lengths of String’ to get ‘closer’ to the hole.

This year the funds raised will go to purchase a new Telehealth Cart for Grafton Base Hospital.

The Telehealth Enable Carts were born out of the Covid pandemic for the first time, giving doctors and nurses a fully mobile, ultra-high quality and secure telehealth solution that can be wheeled to any bed in the children’s ward, nursery or emergency department.

“A huge shout out to all who played and supported the Westlawn Finance & Insurance Golf Day, as a Telehealth Enable Cart will be a great addition to Grafton Base Hospital,” said Rebekka.
