There was a fantastic atmosphere at the first 2024 Grafton Chamber of Commerce “Business After Hours” event on Wednesday February 7 at the Crown Hotel.
We were well looked after by the Crown with delicious food, and we had a few new faces which was fantastic to see.
We handed out a couple of “lucky door prizes” which were vouchers for the Crown bistro, and one of our new attendees Ashwin Bahadur won one of the vouchers, and Mark Blackadder won the other.
The Business After Hours events are a great opportunity to network with other members of the business community in a relaxed setting.
The Chamber members we get at our events are very friendly and welcoming, and the Business After Hours has been growing and evolving over the past twelve months, so if you haven’t been for a while, or if you have never been, please do consider coming along to our next Business After Hours which will be held on March 6. We are also excited about our upcoming “International Women’s Day Celebration” which is to be held on March 7, the eve of International Women’s Day.
The event is to be held at the Crown Hotel on the back balcony, with lovely views of the Clarence River as the sun goes down. We have live music, with local artist Pam Hata will be performing, we have some fantastic local women who are going to be our storytellers and share their inspirational stories during the evening, and we are lucky enough to have Misty Fisher from 2GF as the MC.
