Tuesday November 24 Lucky Rink was the condition of play today and the winners on rink 2 were T. Shorten, J. Pugh and J. Solomon d R. Macdonald, H. Barnier and J. Cooper. Lucky loser was M. Firth and L. Demmery def by M. Toovey and A Williams; J. McDonald, F. Cannon and J. Morrissey def R. Foley, V. Hall and L. Robertson. Resting toucher was won by J. McDonald well done Jess. Competition winners were M. Toovey, D. Rapley,  R. Foley and B. Murray. Thursday November 26 This was the third week of our Twilight competition which was played on one of the hottest night for some time, though once out on the Green everyone seemed to enjoy their game despite the hot conditions and Kaos’s  music kept us entertained. Winners on rink 2 were the Snickers (B. Elder, A. Wright and A. Williams). Runner/up were the Red Frogs (K and J Pepper and K. Omeara) on rink 5 and the Lucky losers went to the Caramel Koalas (R. Hillman, J. Eggins and D. Lawson). Resting toucher went to D. Rapley. The Columbines (R. Macdonald, G. Cross and I. Macdonald) had a good night gaining 8 points and have jumped to lead of our pointscore after week 3. It’s great to see so many on the green each Thursday night enjoying themselves. A reminder that our Christmas Party/ Presentation night is on this Friday, December 4, 6.30 for 7pm  hope to see you all there. The last Tuesday of bowls for the year will be played on December 15 and we will be playing for Christmas goodies with a box draw and the last Thursday Twilight will be on the 17th.
