Eileen’s two green thumbs work for rescue helicopter

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service would like to acknowledge one its amazing supporters, Mrs Eileen Thorley, who along with her husband Ernie have helped to fundraise over $17,000 since 2010 from their special little plant store outside their house in Tucabia.

Since the recent Pacific Highway bypass opening things are now quieter than normal in her hometown but you can still find Eileen’s special little plant stand opposite the Tucabia Village General Store.

Regional marketing manager, Zeke Huish commented “I have been lucky enough to visit Eileen’s house on a few occasions over the years and I am very jealous of her amazing garden. I think Eileen was definitely born with two green thumbs as her passion for her plant stand will show you”.

“We can’t thank Eileen and Ernie enough for their continued efforts to help raise support for the Rescue Helicopter Service”.
