The Brooms Head Bowling Club handed a $4,450 cheque to the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter last Saturday.
The money was raised through the club’s Joker draw: members pay a dollar each week to enter; if their number is drawn, they turn a card over; if it’s the joker, they win the jackpot, which increases by $30 each week; if not, they receive a $20 consolation prize.
