After 2 years of success, New Year’s Eve celebrations need a new home in Grafton for 2016

After two years of successfully hosting an amazing New Year’s Eve celebration at Grafton Shoppingworld with brilliant fireworks display and outdoor movie screening, Grafton Shoppingworld is throwing out the call for the celebrations to find a new home. The success of the New Year’s Eve event means that Grafton Shoppingworld have now outgrown the space they have available and can no longer run the event on site. Grafton Shoppingworld is throwing out the call to local community and sporting groups to run the event for the local community as a major fundraiser in 2016. “It has been such a success over the past two years with thousands of people watching the fireworks display and outdoor movie. We feel that with this community support, the event could provide an amazing fundraising opportunity for a local sporting or community group. Should one of our local community or sporting groups step up to take on the organisation of a Grafton community New Year’s Eve event. Grafton Shoppingworld would be willing to discuss sponsoring the fireworks display for the community on New Year’s Eve’ again in 2016”, says Strategic Marketing Manager, Kelle Murphy. Grafton Shoppingworld would love to hear from any sporting or community groups who may be interested in taking on this great event as a major fundraiser and will be happy to assist with providing all the necessary information and details on the success of the event.
