Why the change?

Ed, Why has the government changed the Senate voting from one above the line to six instead of arguing their case and trusting the voters to elect a Senate that works? Ask yourself the question, can you name six conservative parties or six Labor or six Green parties. I struggle to name more than three. For this election my solution is simple, I will be voting for just one above the line, my research shows that this will be a valid vote as the act states that if the voters voting intention is clear then the vote is valid.
