HSC Study nights – Grafton and Maclean
There will be another round of HSC study nights at Maclean library. The first two have been successful and the feedback from the students is they love the study space and would like designated study sessions. The Maclean Library night is Wednesday 7 October, 5pm-8pm. Students can make use of the library collection, Wi-Fi and free printing and photocopying. Free pizza and snacks will be on offer to help keep energy levels up. Students can come with a group of friends or individually. No bookings are required and students are free to arrive and leave when they like. Art workshops for grown ups
Maclean, Yamba and Iluka Libraries are offering art workshops this month.
Iluka artist, Margot Grant, will be facilitating the workshops, with each one being a different art medium.
Iluka Library -Charcoal Drawing
Practice using charcoal as a tool for drawing by exploring a variety of skills and interesting techniques to make a simple design/drawing.

Yamba Library – Mixed Media/Collage
Have fun experimenting with different materials and effects by combining elements of drawing, printmaking and collage to produce a small unique artwork.
Wednesday 21 October 2015, 10am-12noon
Maclean Library – Monoprinting
Enjoy a variety of exciting printmaking techniques, using plants and other materials. Investigate texture, line, tone, shape etc. and make your own original monoprint
Friday 23 October 2015, 10am-12noon
