Yamba SLSC will be hosting a Surf Rescue Craft training weekend on the 18th and 19th July. This will involve Surf Life Saving Clubs from Cudgen down to Yamba and will test the skills of IRB drivers and crew-persons, jetski drivers and the rescue jetboat crew. All members are reminded that the Annual General Meeting is on Sunday 26th July at the Clubhouse, starting at 2pm. Spinal Management Certificate- Saturday 8th August 2015 at Lennox Head SLSC, Lennox Head closing date 31st July 2015. Assessors Certificate-Saturday 15th August 2015 at Branch Training Rooms Ballina, closing date 1st August 2015. After a very productive education meeting on Sunday, Training Officer Kim Morgans will finalise the club’s training calendar over the next couple of weeks. Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Nicole & Greg don and Trish & Kerry Pidcock will be selling tickets from 5:30pm with the draw staring at 6:30pm. With 33 fantastic meat trays to be won, go along and try your luck!
