Yamba SLSC

A small group of Yamba Nippers competed in the Lennox Head Enduro Ironperson on Saturday. Congratulations to Kalani Ives, 1st place in the U11 Females, Carissa Miltiadou, 2nd in the U12’s Females and Jorden Elabbasi, 3rd in the U14’s Males. This Sunday is the FNC Youth Carnival for U12’s to Open’s at Salt Beach. Nippers is on at Main Beach 9.30-11.30am. U11’s parents are rostered for set up. Could you please be at the beach by 9am. Volunteer patrols at Main Beach this weekend are: Saturday 24th 9am-1pm- Patrol 3: Matt Saunders, Marty Dougherty, Rebecca Clout, Jill Ennever, Belinda Bock, Max Normand, Jasmin Ives, Rachel Fahey, Rhys Comerford, Will Pitkin. Sunday 25th 9am-12.30pm- Patrol 4: Phil Kelly, Ray O’ Brien, Leah Essex, Jo King, Caitlin O’Mahony, Mike Smith, Marc Adamson, Vince Bolton, Zac Brotherson, Mitchell Johns, Taylah Sutherland. Sunday 25th 12.30pm-4pm- Patrol 5: Andrew Cumberland, Chris Bonner, Wayne Ringland, Brendan Watkins, Stephen Morfett, Jaydan Watkins, Alicia Cumberland, Warren Tucker, Sam Kapeen. The Surf Club’s administration position has become available. This paid position will suit someone with strong communication and administration skills. Knowledge and use of Microsoft office, MYOB and Surfguard is recommended, although not essential. The position is 10 hours per week, over 3 days, with some flexibility on days and start/finish times.
