A single Stableford event was contested by the Yamba Senior Golfers on Monday October 5. The men’s winner was the ever consistent, Peter Cavanagh with 37 points after a countback from Lester English also on 37 points. The Ball Rundown went to 32 points and included Noel Collie, Danny Quinn, John Ralph, Ken Hall, Peter Sweetman, Doug Luckie, Ken Wood and Peter Ross. Alex Podbereski had his ball well-trained winning both nearest the pins on the 3rd and 12th holes. The ladies winner was Toinette Elliott with 38 points followed by Isabel Ayscough on 37 points. The Ball Rundown went to 32 points and included Barb Wood, Jenny Stratford, Dot Latham, Rin Hulka, Robyn Causley and Glenys Hall. NTPs: 2nd Hole Daph Hinshaw,  17th Hole  Janine Zeitsch (I think Janine likes this hole, she claims the honour most weeks). There was no winner on the 10th Hole. The raffle winners were Di Sweetman, Jane Cromack and John Ralph. The Senior’s AGM was held after the game resulting in the following Members being elected to the committee.
