Wet weather hampered the golfers in the second round of the Seniors Single Stroke Championships, when 35 hardy players took on a very wet back nine and some reasonable scores were recorded. The overall men’s winner was Alex Podbereski with a combined score of 146 strokes, followed by Peter Russo with a combined score of 147. The overall ladies winner was Janine Zietsch with a combined score of 153 strokes followed by Lucy Thompson with a combined score of 166 strokes. A Stroke round was held in conjunction, the men’s winner was Keith Cromack with a net 72. The Ball Rundown went to 85 and included Peter Russo, Doug Luckie, Alex Podbereski, Mike Thurbon, Cliff Nicholls, Harold Roberts, Ron Bines and John Ralph. NTP: 12th Hole Keith Cromack. Ladies winner was Janine Zietsch with net 76. The Ball Rundown went to 107 and included Robyn Causley, Jane Cromack, Lucy Thompson and Marie Leonard.
