Yamba parkrun – January 9

Male placings: Steven Grayson (JM15-17) was first over the line in 21:10; Harry Hunter (JM11-14) of Marist College Ashgrove, was second over the line in 21:22; Marty Dougherty (SM25-29) was third over the line in 21:37. Current standing in the Men’s annual points competition: Scott Lenton 2399pts; Luna T Dog 2378pts; Rick Lindsay 1916pts. Female placings: Lily Hunter (JW11-14) was first (8th overall) over the line in 23:31; Maeve Dougherty (JW11-14) was second (9th overall) over the line in 23:34; Barbara Hartl (VW45-49) was third (10th overall) over the line in 24:11. Current standing in the Women’s annual points competition: Linda Burow 3127pts; Beth Stacey 2226pts; Collette Adams 1974pts. The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores: Harry Hunter (JM11-14) was graded 69.58% for the time 21:22 (second overall); Lily Hunter (JW11-14) was graded 69.24% for the time 23:31 (8th overall); Patrick Dougherty (VM50-54) was graded 68.84% for the time 21:46 (4th overall). This week there were 54 runners, of whom 14 were first timers and 7 recorded new PBs. Representatives of 4 different athletics clubs took part. Yamba parkrun started on 21st March 2015, and since then 504 different runners, including participants from 38 athletics clubs, have completed 1,526 runs covering a total distance of 7,630 km, and there have been 328 new PBs. The female record is held by Meg Dougherty who ran in a time of 00:18:48 on 2015-09-19. The male record is held by Hamish Hamilton who ran in a time of 00:16:34 on 2015-04-04. The Age Grade course record is held by Jim Woodriff who recorded a 84.91% run (20:19) on 21st March 2015.
